20 Best Air Guns

We stayed under $300 for the most part, the Marauder, TX200 and Model 54 were too highly recommended to leave them out, so you know that there are lots of other really nice rifles and handguns that have been intentionally left out so that the list didn’t turn into a high priced catalog.

.22 Caliber air guns are well represented. The Crosman 2260 is under $100 and makes a good small varmint rifle because of the extra energy (81% more) in the .22 caliber round. These airgun favorites are not listed in any particular order.

The Gamo Viper shotgun/rifle combo is the most exciting newcomer. It’s .22 Caliber shotgun load packs #9 pellets and comes out the muzzle at 750 fps. More than enough to take birds out of the air, snakes or a garden-munching rabbit at close to medium range.
